Mohamed Ismail Mohamed is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Accountancy, SIMAD University, specializing in accounting information systems, taxation, financial accounting, and auditing. He currently serves as the Head of the Accounting Department, where he provides academic leadership, leads curriculum development, and ensures the effective delivery of core accounting courses. He holds a Master’s degree in International Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SIMAD University. Mohamed integrates academic rigor with practical industry relevance, emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and the real-world application of accounting principles in evolving business environments.
Outside the classroom, he is committed to developing future professionals and actively engages in research focused on the changing roles of accounting systems and financial practices in emerging markets.
