Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at SIMAD University is a five-year, trimester-based degree designed to prepare students with deep technical knowledge, practical experience, and analytical skills in the evolving field of IT. The curriculum integrates fundamental computing, programming, database management, software engineering, web and mobile development, networking, IoT, cybersecurity, data science, and AI. Students are exposed to real-world problem-solving through project-based learning, capstone projects, and research methodology.

The program emphasizes digital fluency, innovation, and applied learning through a blend of theoretical courses and hands-on laboratories. It also embeds essential knowledge in communication, critical thinking, ethics, and entrepreneurship to ensure graduates are not only technically skilled but also socially responsible and workplace ready.

Program Objectives

The program aims to:

  1. Equip students with a solid foundation in computing principles, programming, database systems, and software development methodologies.

Graduates of the BSc in Information Technology will be able to:
