Program Description

The Bachelor of Psychology is an undergraduate degree program intended goal is to provide students with a broad understanding of human behaviour, mental processes, and the scientific methodology underlying psychological inquiry. The degree program prepares students in the core fields of psychology, like developmental, social, cognitive, biological, and clinical psychology, with emphasis on applying psychological principles to address individual, community, and world problems.

Through combining theoretical education, practical training, and research-based education, the students achieve critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum combines studies in research methodology, ethics of practice, and statistics to equip graduates with the capabilities to execute independent research and also apply psychology principles in the workplace.

Bachelor of Psychology graduates are prepared for various career options in mental health services, education, human resources, community development, and social research. The course is also suitable for further studies at the postgraduate level in psychology or related fields.
