Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Public Administration at SIMAD University is a comprehensive, trimester-based degree designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values required for effective leadership and management in public service institutions. The program focuses on governance, public policy, public financial management, organizational leadership, and service delivery within a modern, globalized, and technology-driven environment. The curriculum integrates theoretical foundations with practical applications through case studies, policy analysis, field projects, and research activities that reflect real-world public sector challenges.

The program emphasizes critical thinking, analytical and logical reasoning, effective communication, teamwork, accountability, and ethical leadership. Program Objectives

The program aims to:

  • Develop students’ ability to analyze and interpret public sector information, including political, economic, social, and administrative factors that influence governance and public policy.

  • Instill strong principles of public management and leadership to improve effectiveness, transparency, and accountability in public institutions.

  • Equip students with essential skills to collect, evaluate, and communicate data-driven insights while utilizing technology to solve governance and service delivery challenges.

  • Encourage innovative, research-based solutions to address emerging public issues and societal needs.

Graduates of the BSc in Public Administration will be able to:
