Biography
Mr. Abdirizak Osman Abdullahi is the Head of the Faculty of Law at SIMAD University and a legal scholar with expertise in international law and humanitarian legal studies. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from SIMAD University and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). His research area encompasses Public International Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Human Rights Law, Law of armed conflict, civilian protection, and international legal accountability, with several peer-reviewed publications in respected academic journals.
Mr. Abdullahi has extensive experience in legal education, academic leadership, and consultancy. In addition to his administrative and teaching responsibilities, he is a member of Garqaad Legal Consultant, where he contributes to legal advisory and international arbitration. With a solid foundation in legal education and consultancy, he continues to engage in academic development through teaching, research supervision, and scholarly contributions to the field of international law
