Dr. Mohamud Ahmed Mohamed holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences at the SIMAD University. Possessing a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management and Innovation, his research interests encompass entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, and higher education policy in post-conflict settings. He spearheaded initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and youth empowerment in Somalia. Dr. Mohamud has developed academic programs that address the needs of both the public and private sectors, and has played a pivotal role in SIMAD University’s accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to international standards. He serves as a mentor and examiner for business students, and is recognized for integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications to prepare future leaders for Somalia’s economy.
