Abdirahman Abdinur Awale is an accounting practitioner, researcher, and educator at the Faculty of Accountancy, SIMAD University. He currently serves as the Head of the Auditing Department under the Faculty of Accountancy, where he leads academic programs, guides curriculum development, and ensures the department maintains high academic standards. He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Kocaeli University (Turkey) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SIMAD University, and he is currently pursuing the ACCA qualification. With extensive practical experience in accounting and auditing roles across diverse sectors—including banking and NGOs—Abdirahman brings a wealth of expertise in financial reporting, data analytics, auditing, fintech, and corporate governance. His professional approach integrates industry best practices with tailored solutions to address complex financial challenges.

As an educator, Abdirahman combines academic rigor with real-world insights, teaching and mentoring students in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Public and Not-for-Profit Accounting, and Accounting Information Systems. His commitment to fostering professional skills helps students bridge theoretical knowledge and practical application.
