MA in Education

Introduction

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) is designed to prepare leaders, policy analysts, curriculum specialists, and administrators for the rapidly evolving education sector in Somalia and beyond. The program integrates advanced theory with practical skills, enabling graduates to address pressing educational challenges in post-conflict settings while aligning with international best practices. By offering three specialization tracks—Educational Management, Education Policy and Planning, and Curriculum Studies—the program provides flexibility for learners to pursue career pathways suited to their professional goals and the needs of national education systems.

In Somalia’s context of educational reconstruction, quality assurance, curriculum renewal, and effective policy frameworks are crucial.
